Welcome to Journal Club!

In our respective research groups, we review one another's work prior to publication, but we rarely read and review important, influential, and creative papers from the rest of the research community at large. The NCSU Software Engineering Journal Club is a chance to do just that.

The general idea of Journal Club is to gain exposure to the software engineering literature that you, as a student, may not otherwise come into contact with on your research exploits. The papers we read are generally accepted by the software engineering and computer science research communities as influential or foundational papers. Journal Club is unstructured, unaffiliated, unleaded, decaffeinated (mostly), and requires no commitments. If we don't sit down and talk with one another about important research in software engineering, then we're really wasting one of our best resources: each other.

Check out our "About" page if you would like to learn more. If you are planning on joining us for Journal Club, then I would recommend you subscribe to our feed. We will make announcements about paper selection and meeting dates there. Of course, you can also choose to check this website regularly for this information.
